Hey Everyone! I was born and raised on the waters of Southeast Louisiana. Most of my time was spent on the water fishing, crabbing, and trawling for shrimp as a child.A strong work ethic was installed in me at a very young age by my Father and Mother. My father and other family members taught me every square inch of the Louisiana marshland in the area that I grew up in. There was no GPS, Google maps, or any other type of navigation systems in those days. We had to recognize points, bayous, cuts, and other landmarks to navigate a safe passage through the marshland.
Fishing for me was never just a hobby; it was a way of life. It was about choosing a career that I can enjoy and something that I had extensive knowledge doing. It’s a hard-working livelihood, but it’s something that I genuinely love to do. What’s that old saying? Find a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life. I genuinely believe that to be true.Clients ask me every day, “Capt. Mike, do you ever get tired of fishing?”. I quickly respond every time by saying, “Never.” Even on those tough days of fishing, I’d rather be out on the water than stuck behind a desk any day. Every client that gets on my boat is treated like family like we’ve known each other for years. We tell jokes, laugh, and just poke fun at one another; it makes for a fun time while enjoying an exciting and fun day out on the water.Fishing is an everyday thing for me, but it’s not something that you have time to enjoy regularly. I can assure you that I will be as excited as you with every fish you pull into the boat. Nothing brings me more joy than watching someone reel in their first Redfish, Flounder, Black Drum, Red Snapper, Cobia, or that 3 plus pound Speckled Trout.Whether your a first-time client or a returning client, your fun and exciting day on the water awaits you.
